Can I just say that I love Amazon? I am kind of obsessed lately with the lazy girl way of ordering things online. I ordered this black plaid skirt for $8.00, yellow blouse for $6.00, and silver collar tips for $3.00.

I paired with my lovely tan booties and black knit tights.
I did my hair up in Heidi braids.

I got the tutorial from MissySue.com here.

I got this cute striped peplum  top at Charlotte Ruse for $20.00, the skinny black jeans at CottonOn for $20.00 and these AMAZING tan booties at Charlotte Ruse for $40.00

I wanted to change up my part to so I split it evenly down the middle and loosely curled the ends...

Check out how cute the back of my peplum top is!

Yes. I am posting our Halloween costume in December.

It was just too fun to leave off the blog even though it is extremely late posting.

This year Jake and I were a deer and a hunter. I took inspiration for my make up and hair from a picture off pinterest.

I used my regular coverup, a white coverup tube, bronzer and black eyeliner pencil.

My only change would be to use liquid eyeliner instead. I was really hard to make the black dark when writing over the white coverup.

I also threw on some awesome faux eyelashes, painted my nails forest green and did the side buns for "ears."

The has been one of my favorite "go to" casual outfits. I bought the jeans (which have awesome zippers on the sides) at Forever 21 for around $20 and the shirt around the same.

The boots I borrowed from my sister Maddy along with the kaki green military jacket.

I have been a proud supporter of the top knot lately. I have been cheating and using a rolled sock with the toe cut off to make my bun fuller. I tucked my hair over the sock and under my ponytail and wa-lah!

Awful picture...but it will have to do. Sometimes it stinks not having a tripod.

For this Sunday outfit I wore a mustard/patterned dress with a tan jacket, brown belt, brown boots and a chunky navy necklace.

I did a top knot to keep my hair simple. I was in a rush!

I loved this outfit because the boots are super comfy and a lot easier to get around in than heels when you are on the go.

Its so fun visiting family...its also fun to triple your wardrobe by borrowing all your sisters clothes!

For our boat extravaganza I took a dive in my sister Maddy's closet.

I wore her floral skirt, polka dot button down (and tied) shirt and  red orange cardigan with black sandals.

I am featuring my hottie in this Christmas post.

We went out of the boat when we were visiting my parents in Texas.

He was wearing his turquoise Volcom sweater, grey straight jeans and, you can't see them but, grey and black DC shoes.

I got new mint nail polish. Yay!

Naturally I needed to plan an outfit entirely around the nails. It was actually pretty simple because all I did was keep everything else in neutrals.

I paired my sweet mint nails with a black blazer, grey trousers, lace top and "bling."

It came together really good, I wish that I had taken a picture before work when it was light instead of this grain-y one. Oh well! Its a definite repeat. I may even go wilder with the nails next time!

I was supposed to post this yesterday but my poor old lap top was crying for a break...

One of these days its going to break down on me.

Jake got this pencil skirt for a couple christmas..es? (hmm...not sure how to spell that) ago.

Anyways I love it, pencil skirts are usually pretty flattering on most shapes. They emphasize your smallest point (your true waist) and your best curve, your bum.

I paired the skirt with my grey v-neck and black blazer.

The thing I love about this one is that all the lines are very sleek and professional. Great for work.

Too keep the sleek look I put my hair in a simple bun.

Okay we are going to ignore the fact that I look slightly depressed in this picture and focus on how cute this outfit this is.

I've had the jacket for some time now but I believe I got it at either Forever 21 or Maurices.

The shirt and pants are new...

The shirt was about $20 at Forever 21

The pants were about $15 on Amazon, they were "Zehui Women's Bowknot Baggy Harlem Pants"

love. love. love.
