I got new mint nail polish. Yay!

Naturally I needed to plan an outfit entirely around the nails. It was actually pretty simple because all I did was keep everything else in neutrals.

I paired my sweet mint nails with a black blazer, grey trousers, lace top and "bling."

It came together really good, I wish that I had taken a picture before work when it was light instead of this grain-y one. Oh well! Its a definite repeat. I may even go wilder with the nails next time!

Okay we are going to ignore the fact that I look slightly depressed in this picture and focus on how cute this outfit this is.

I've had the jacket for some time now but I believe I got it at either Forever 21 or Maurices.

The shirt and pants are new...

The shirt was about $20 at Forever 21

The pants were about $15 on Amazon, they were "Zehui Women's Bowknot Baggy Harlem Pants"

love. love. love.

I was so excited about this patriotic tank.

I found this "America, 50 states of Awesome" tank [left] at Old Navy on sale for $10.00

I saved it for fourth of July but honestly, I would wear it on any causal day of the week.

I love America!

I paired with my jean button down, skinny jeans and red Keds.

Happy late 4rth everybody, God Bless!

You'll notice that I have a lot of black and white clothes and out fit ideas.

You can't go wrong with black and white.

This is one of my favorite couple of pieces of clothing:

1. Lace turtle neck

2. Pencil skirt with suspenders

3. Faux leather heeled booties

I was daring and I added fancy make-up with darling red lips and a cross bun.

I love getting the excuse to dress up!

Tonight I had an celebratory dinner for getting an award at work. Since there where only three of us that won this time we decided to splurge and treat ourselves to Tepanyaki Japanese Steakhouse.

YUM! I melt thinking of the food...and I just finished eating it!

The chefs are awesome too; they cook in front of you. I almost caught the shrimp tossed at me, almost.

I was still feeling like jeans but wanted to dress it up so I went with my purple skinny jeans.

I paired with a black and white striped tank, white cardigan (another birthday purchase), and black heels. These are my favorite heels. They rock!

This is such a fun girly outfit! I'm married to a cowboy so of course he got me some nice Ariat boots. Yes, I'm spoiled.

I paired my sweet boots with my lace blouse, knit bolero, floral skirt, brown belt and bronze jewelry. As cheesy as it sounds, I just felt pretty and feminine.

I was feeling "green" for work today. But seriously, I love green...and I love cardigans. I got this extra long one a couple years ago.

Today I paired it with my black vest, zebra halter and grey slacks.

I used gold tones for my eye shadow and similar bronzer on my cheeks.

For my hair I formed a low messy bum on the right side of my head. Whenever I have an updo I try to take advantage and wear dangly earrings! Today I wore my gold chain ones.

I've decided I will let the picture do most of the talking on this post,
I will however note that I realize necklace is spelled wrong.

Not changing it now.
Too lazy.
Its Saturday.
My mind doesn't work on Saturdays...

I got my faux leather leggings on Amazon for $14
I love the edgy zipper on the side and they go with basically everything.

Its Friday!

I wasn't sure if I was gonna make it this week.
But all is well and I'm in jeans! Whew!

Alright when I have a day off its usually a "errand day" or a cleaning day. Today needed to be both.

Naturally I wanted to look cute but be comfy.
(long week of business professional slacks!)

I chose jean shorts, black sandals ($5, thank you very much!), my white v-neck and a blue plaid button down.

I also did a super simple updo with a cute greenish yellow silk scarf.

I had some fun with my eye make-up though!
*I'll post a tutorial on that soon.

Happy Friday folks!

This is my "so excited for work face"

No really, I love my job. All sarcasm aside.

I bought this red-orange blazer at Forever 21 a couple of months ago. I don't remember the price but they are usually pretty reasonable ($20 range).

I paired it with this black and white striped shirt and black slacks. I love the shirt because it has a ribbon bow sew on.

I wore my pearl dangly earring [see below for close up] and simple makeup.

For my hair I did a "twist and tuck". No this is not the actual name but thats a good enough discription. Posting the tutorial shortly.

You can see my dangly earring a little bit better here.

They are basically chunky with different sizes of pearls that hang down about an inch.

My makeup is just foundation & light blush.

For the eyes I have a thin line of back eyeliner across my top lid and a thin line underneath, following my lower lashes, that goes from my outer corner to middle.

 Black mascara to finish.
