I love this Christmas spread from our first Christmas together. I love the silver cut out snowflakes, the hints of red and the cut out of Jake coming out of the photo.

I even used material! The silver "snake skin" was a scrap from my sewing box.

I love the collage feel that is brought to this layout...

This is from our visit a couple years ago to Texas.

So fun.

It was so nice to get away from work and our regular "to dos" plus we made some great memories.

Naturally, I had to make an adorable page spread for the occasion.

Favorites:

1. Color scheme

2. So may different types of paper!

3. Incorporating pattern on navy blue paper on p.2 to large faint yellow design on right bottom corner

4. Mix matched stripes on page 2

5. "time", "always", "life" sticker brads on p. 1

6. The mustard brads [p.2 on the stripes]

7. The photos, I love these pictures...

Favorites:

1. "Conference" lettering; I used rub-ons and also a fine point sharpie to match the style for the letters I didn't have.

2. Picture layout; I really like the smaller pictures I used (close up of me with Jake's hat & back of riding horse) to add more layers to the page,

3. The dried rose

Can I just say how fun underwater cameras are?

They are kinda expensive for a disposable camera but its one of those things I splurg on when we go to a water park.
Favorites:

1. Lace

2. Circle detail; I cut a circle and then cut the spiral out of another scrap. I just went around with my scissors and let it be a little chaotic. I glued a gem and ribbon bow in the middle.

3. The picture layout...

4 Yellow scalloped paper under the bottom half of the page (kinda hard to see in this picture)

p.1
p.2
This is another page from Jake's proposal. We went to dinner and walked around downtown San Antonio earlier in the date. We captured some great memories....

I really love the pictures we took so I had to make the page just as cute!

Favorites:

1. Pom-pom ribbon

2. The paper; so many different types of papers and colors! Love them...

3. Pop up letters, "texas" [p.1] and "tweet" [p.2.]

4. Use of Alamo brochure

5. Page 2; need I say more?!

I was feeling nostalgic because Jake proposed in June...

Favorites:

1. The proposal story [p.2]; I love all the images and different stickers I used to make up the story.

2. The clusters [both pages] of flowers, pop stickers etc.

p.1

1. Gold Elements; Diamond brads & chains

2. The lace (both pages)

3. Incoporating the peice-y circles & half circles

4. Using arrow for "up" on p. 1

5. Pops of blue; dots on p. 1 are scraps from hole puncher!

6. Letters for title; I used Corina's cricket. So handy! There is a glare but I also used the same lettering on   p. 2 for my "I" at the being of my explanation paragraph and for the "{ }" symbols

7. "I love Jake" picture. Great pictures make a cute page 100 times better.
p. 2

I had a lot of fun incorporating fish, fishing line, hooks etc. in this page.

Who new fish could be so artist inspiring!

Favorites:

1. Spelling "love" with the conjoining fish line made of string from Jake's pole to mine.

2. Using the gold wire to bend into fish hooks.

3. The white pen on the blue & brown background.

4. Making large fish for page 2 hooked

5. Cutting out image of me sitting on the bottom of page 1.

Favorites:

1. Red flags throughout spread
2. Incuded conference tickets
3. Buttons
4. Color scheme
