The has been one of my favorite "go to" casual outfits. I bought the jeans (which have awesome zippers on the sides) at Forever 21 for around $20 and the shirt around the same.

The boots I borrowed from my sister Maddy along with the kaki green military jacket.

I have been a proud supporter of the top knot lately. I have been cheating and using a rolled sock with the toe cut off to make my bun fuller. I tucked my hair over the sock and under my ponytail and wa-lah!

Awful picture...but it will have to do. Sometimes it stinks not having a tripod.

For this Sunday outfit I wore a mustard/patterned dress with a tan jacket, brown belt, brown boots and a chunky navy necklace.

I did a top knot to keep my hair simple. I was in a rush!

I loved this outfit because the boots are super comfy and a lot easier to get around in than heels when you are on the go.

Its so fun visiting family...its also fun to triple your wardrobe by borrowing all your sisters clothes!

For our boat extravaganza I took a dive in my sister Maddy's closet.

I wore her floral skirt, polka dot button down (and tied) shirt and  red orange cardigan with black sandals.

I am featuring my hottie in this Christmas post.

We went out of the boat when we were visiting my parents in Texas.

He was wearing his turquoise Volcom sweater, grey straight jeans and, you can't see them but, grey and black DC shoes.

I was supposed to post this yesterday but my poor old lap top was crying for a break...

One of these days its going to break down on me.

Jake got this pencil skirt for a couple christmas..es? (hmm...not sure how to spell that) ago.

Anyways I love it, pencil skirts are usually pretty flattering on most shapes. They emphasize your smallest point (your true waist) and your best curve, your bum.

I paired the skirt with my grey v-neck and black blazer.

The thing I love about this one is that all the lines are very sleek and professional. Great for work.

Too keep the sleek look I put my hair in a simple bun.

Okay we are going to ignore the fact that I look slightly depressed in this picture and focus on how cute this outfit this is.

I've had the jacket for some time now but I believe I got it at either Forever 21 or Maurices.

The shirt and pants are new...

The shirt was about $20 at Forever 21

The pants were about $15 on Amazon, they were "Zehui Women's Bowknot Baggy Harlem Pants"

love. love. love.

Sooo this picture isn't the greatest but you can get the basic idea...

I bought this navy, black collared tee at Forever 21 for $12. It is so versatile because I can dress it down or up!

For work today I paired it with a black vest and dark grey trousers.

I was so excited about this patriotic tank.

I found this "America, 50 states of Awesome" tank [left] at Old Navy on sale for $10.00

I saved it for fourth of July but honestly, I would wear it on any causal day of the week.

I love America!

I paired with my jean button down, skinny jeans and red Keds.

Happy late 4rth everybody, God Bless!

I was having a hard time deciding which of my pages to post this on. I decided TWO; thats right if you saw this on my "My Nest" page too you are not going crazy.

Alright so this is a little unorthodox for this page because its baby fashion instead of women's fashion but it is just too darn cute. I recently bought this outfit for my best friend, Bri, who is pregnant with her first.

She loves Def Leppard, actually they are her favorite band. I couldn't help myself when I found this onsie so I splurged at go it for $25 from Amazon (including shipping).

I lucked out and found these adorable tan pants at Old Navy for $5.00 and these Van-look-a-likes at Walmart for $5 as well.

Add it all together and you get one stud-ly 80s Rocker baby

We had to go to UVU campus today to register Jake for classes starting the 24th...of June. We are slow.

Yay, Jake! He is making the leap of faith to go back to school after being out for 4 years! So proud of him!

Anyways, the outing gave me the chance to wear some non-professional clothing. What does that mean? JEANS!

I could live in jeans.

I broke out my brand new birthday jeans (my birthday was the 5th) that I bought for $20.00 at Maurices.

They are awesome.

The are stretch to fit meaning, you buy them snug and they stretch to fit.

I know how this sounds and I was skeptical at first too but they are so comfy! AND in a pant size smaller than I have been wearing! Woot! Woot!
