Sooo this picture isn't the greatest but you can get the basic idea...

I bought this navy, black collared tee at Forever 21 for $12. It is so versatile because I can dress it down or up!

For work today I paired it with a black vest and dark grey trousers.

I was having a hard time deciding which of my pages to post this on. I decided TWO; thats right if you saw this on my "My Nest" page too you are not going crazy.

Alright so this is a little unorthodox for this page because its baby fashion instead of women's fashion but it is just too darn cute. I recently bought this outfit for my best friend, Bri, who is pregnant with her first.

She loves Def Leppard, actually they are her favorite band. I couldn't help myself when I found this onsie so I splurged at go it for $25 from Amazon (including shipping).

I lucked out and found these adorable tan pants at Old Navy for $5.00 and these Van-look-a-likes at Walmart for $5 as well.

Add it all together and you get one stud-ly 80s Rocker baby

Bringing out an older picture today for some causal outfit inspiration!

This picture is from a photo session with my sister TyRee that we did for fun. I wore my hot pink plaid collared button down with my MissMe jeans.

I'm a little spoiled by my sweet husband; he bought me the fancy jeans! Such a sweetheart.

Getting back on track...

For my hair, I took advantage of my wild bed head hair waves. I added a couple extra curls as needed with my straightener and then bobby pinned my bangs into a large poof.

This is a flash back to one of Bri (my best friend) and my first videos. We make music videos all the time just for fun. Its a blast!

I decided to post this picture because I'm wearing my favorite rocker accessory; my black moccasin boots.

I paired them with a black band tee, some cool jeans and lots of bangles.

I also had some much fun hair that summer as well. I bleached my hair line, forehead to nap of neck.  I looked even cooler pulled up. It was a lot of up-keep though!

I've decided I will let the picture do most of the talking on this post,
I will however note that I realize necklace is spelled wrong.

Not changing it now.
Too lazy.
Its Saturday.
My mind doesn't work on Saturdays...

I got my faux leather leggings on Amazon for $14
I love the edgy zipper on the side and they go with basically everything.

Its Friday!

I wasn't sure if I was gonna make it this week.
But all is well and I'm in jeans! Whew!

Alright when I have a day off its usually a "errand day" or a cleaning day. Today needed to be both.

Naturally I wanted to look cute but be comfy.
(long week of business professional slacks!)

I chose jean shorts, black sandals ($5, thank you very much!), my white v-neck and a blue plaid button down.

I also did a super simple updo with a cute greenish yellow silk scarf.

I had some fun with my eye make-up though!
*I'll post a tutorial on that soon.

Happy Friday folks!

If you want a easy updo use a silk scarf! I'm in love.

You can pretty much tie it any way you want. I found several tutorials online.

I chose to wing it!

I started by finding the middle of my scarf and laying it on the top of my head.

I then took the two ends, that were hanging down on each side of my head, and crossed them under my hair line by the nape of my neck. I went back and forth crossing at the top of my head and my neck line until I ran out of scarf.

You can see in the pictures [above] that I just tied it off on the side of my head, leaving some cute loose ends.

If you have bangs you can also tuck them in to keep them out of your face and it still looks great!

Pardon the squinty eyes, it was bright.

Yay for summer! Anyway...

This is one of my easy go to casual outfits.

Key is to layer; punk tee, complimentary undershirt, & button down sweater vest, (see 3 layers :) ).

Pair with some comfy jeans and cute sandals.

For jewelry I wore faux diamond studs and a watch.
